9.5 kg ganja seized, 7 persons held in raids

Hyderabad: The Excise Enforcement sleuths on Sunday conducted raids on the ganja sale points in Dhoolpet and Charminar police station limits.They arrested 7 persons and seized 9.5 kg dry ganja from their possession.
According to N Anjireddy, AES, Enforcement, they raided the house of one Narender Singh at Jinsi Chowraha and seized 1.15 kg dry ganja from him. They seized 2.37 kg dry ganja from other persons Prema Bai and Nanda Bai at Balram gully in Dhoolpet.
In other two cases, the sleuths arrested Syed Nawaz and Santosh Singh near Ruman restaurant in Charminar and seized 5.5 kg of dry ganja from them. The sleuths arrested Mohammed Sultan and Mohammed Sajid in Eidi Bazar and seized 0.5 kg of dry ganja from them. Besides ganja, the officials seized one bike and 6 mobile phones from the accused possession.
