Mother, daughter stabbed to death by ex-boyfriend in New Delhi
In an incident, a mother and her daughter were brutally stabbed to death by a person who was the ex-boyfriend of the daughter.
New Delhi: In an incident, a mother and her daughter were brutally stabbed to death by a person who was the ex-boyfriend of the daughter. This crime has happened at New Ashok Nagar in New Delhi. The deceased identified as Sumita Marry (65) and Samrita (25). The CCTV footage in the area revealed two persons entering their flat in Manasara apartment.
The police took one of the accused into their custody when he was travelling to Jaipur. The prime suspect identified as Vinay alias Vikrant Nagar. Speaking on the occasion, DCP (East) Jasmeet Singh said the accused was held with the help of Rajasthan police and key evidence were collected in the murder case.
Sumita works in an event management company and her daughter Samrita undergoing training in the hospitality sector, police said. Recently, Samrita has break up her relationship with Nagar. The initial investigation revealed that Nagar was upset that Samrita has developed a friendship with another man.
The another accused identified as Prayag, who is currently absconding. On the incident, the police have registered a case and investigating further.
