Son held for killing his mother in Kurnool district
The police have arrested a person for killing his mother at Lakshmi Peta in Yemmiganur town of Kurnool district on Thursday.
Yemmiganur: The police have arrested a person for killing his mother at Lakshmi Peta in Yemmiganur town of Kurnool district on Thursday. On this occasion, the accused was produced before the media in the presences of Adoni DSP P Ramakrishna at the local town police station.
Speaking to presspersons, DSP said that a woman named Boya Urkundamma, a resident of Lakshmi Peta was brutally murdered by her son Baya Veeresh by hitting her with stone.
Veeresh got addicted to alcohol and fought with his mother to fulfil his desire on the 11th of this month. He tried to attack his father, brother, and in order to block him, his mother came in the middle, where he killed her by hitting with stone on the head.
Upon receiving the complaint from the deceased family members, the Town police have registered a case and initiated the investigation. The police have arrested the accused near ZPH school at Soganur road and sent him to the judicial remand.
