BENGALURU: On Saturday, a 26-year-old woman had accused her husband, in-laws and brother-in-law of hacking her social media accounts and uploading messages inviting men into a physical relationship.

The woman had narrated her ordeal in a two-page police complaint. In which she had claimed that her in-laws were also demanding for money from her to get their son operated for impotency and they have uploaded her nude videos after she refused to give in. After which the cops approached experts from the cybercrime cell to delete her pictures and videos which have been allegedly uploaded by the accused.

However, the police said have said that, no arrests have been made so far. "Our main aim is to collect evidence in the form of lewd messages and pictures and delete them."

According to the victim, she bewedded Praja (name changed), 32, a resident of BTM Layout, in October 2017. "The wedding took place in one of the city's costliest convention centres and my father spent more than Rs 30 lakh on the wedding day alone in the form of gifts, meals and decorations. On the same night, I was shocked to learn that my husband was impotent. His family members had hidden the fact and ruined my life by getting me married to him. My life turned into hell. Every day, I was subjected to cruelty and mental torture," she claimed.

She alleged that it was more shocking when Praja had insisted that she have sex with his brother and another friend. "One day, my husband told me that I could have sex with his younger brother and friend. I was deeply hurt and declined to do so. Another day, I found some medical documents which confirmed that before marriage, my husband had been operated for issues pertaining to his testicles and was impotent. Showing them the files, I asked my-in laws why they had ruined my life even after knowing their son was impotent. They rudely replied that they don't mind me having sex with others."

Later, the in-laws of the woman began forcing her to fund the second operation to cure the impotency of her husband. "According to them, I was supposed to arrange at least Rs 25 lakh. I firmly refused, saying my father was already in deep debt due to the marriage and I wouldn't ask him for anything. That day onwards, my in-laws began to treat me like a maid and my husband supported them," she said.

"I was given food laced with sleeping pills. When I was fast asleep, they stripped me, clicked pictures and made videos and uploaded them on my Facebook account which they had hacked. They wrote messages, saying I was looking for a physical relationship with other men," the woman said in her complaint.
