Amulya Leona Father's Sensational Comments On Daughter's Activities

The case of BA English literature student and anti-CAA activist, Amulya Leona Noronha is now the most discussed topic in social media circles. People are not only googling her to find out her background, she is also being slammed for her anti-national sentiments.

Soon after Amulya Leona's provocative speech at the freedom park in Bengaluru following which she was whisked away by the police, reporters and activists thronged her parents place in Chikkamagaluru. They demanded to know what Amulya had been upto all these years. To the question, Amulya's father Wazi Noronha said that they had been warning her against making such provocative statements or speeches. In fact even the father's brother who had just come down from abroad had counselled her in vain. He also goes on to say that she got carried away by the words of her friends.

He says that she befriended a lot of Muslims who were responsible for her anti-national speech and behaviour. The sensational comments made by Amulya's father has left her friends shocked who reason that Amulya never had any wrong intentions. They argue that she was stopped in between and that Amulya wanted to show them that muslims are actually not anti-India but she was cut off midway and was not allowed to finish her speech despite her pleading several times.
