NEW DELHI: Sunita Kejriwal the wife of the chief minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted a message of "high gratitude" after her son Pulkit Kejriwal made his parents proud today after the results of the CBSE Class 12 examination were announced. He had scored a stunning 96.4 percent.

A government official had told a source that, Pulkit Kejriwal studied at a private school in Noida.

Various ministers of Delhi, including Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker Satyender Jain congratulated Ms Kejriwal on Twitter.

Sunita Kejriwal had tweeted saying, "With God's grace and well-wishers' blessings son has secured 96.4 percentile in CBSE Class XII. In high gratitude"

Twitter was flooded with reactions from the Social Media Strategist of AAP Ankit Lal saying that, there will be a "party after his (Pulkit's) IIT result".

The daughter of the chief minister, Harshita Kejriwal, had also scored 96 percent in her Class 12 CBSE examination. Later, she had cleared the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Arvind Kejriwal is also an IIT graduate.



The class 12 results were announced today by, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Around 13 lakh students are said to have appeared for the examination.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Prakash Javadekar congratulated the students.

PM Modi said in his tweet, "Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed the CBSE Class XII examinations. My best wishes to them for their endeavours. Kudos also to their parents and teachers for the valuable support."
