PMK pledges support to AIADMK for the elections
S Ramadoss, PMK founder said that the party had the responsibility to work hard for the AIADMK's victory, more than extending our support and cadre should work thrice more for the ruling camp and its allies.
The ruling party AIADMK was provided with entire support by the PMK for the upcoming elections to the following four assembly seats, which are Sulur, Aravakurichi, Ottapidaram and Thiruparankundram, on Thursday. S Ramadoss, PMK founder said, "The party had the "responsibility" to work hard for the AIADMK's victory, more than extending our support and cadre should work "thrice" more for the ruling camp and its allies."
The PMK leader sought to highlight that coalition partners worked in unison with no dissimilarities over the candidates in fight as he praised the delightful coordination among the allies lately during the campaigns.
"The commitment of the cadre ensured that victory is certain for the candidates of AIADMK-led alliance in the general elections and bypolls to assembly seats. The collaboration and extraordinary poll work should continue for the four seats as well," Ramadoss said, encouraging the cadre in Coimbatore, Karur, Madurai and Tuticorin and the neighboring districts to work in harmony with the AIADMK election committee.
On poll day, the comment from Ramadoss came after DMK allies led by VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan went against the PMK leadership for the Ponparappi violence against Dalit villagers. A repoll demanded in Ponparappi by them.
"My party leaders would campaign extensively in the four by poll seats in support of AIADMK candidates in the coming days. My intensive campaign would be in Ottapidaram seat that falls under her parliamentary constituency," said BJP state President Tamilisai Soundararajan
"We continue our alliance with AIADMK as we don't want to see DMK-Congress combine winning. TTV Dhinakaran is corrupt and there is no doubt about it. EPS government will be stable by winning more seats. The AIADMK government remained supportive of the Central schemes." she added.
