Many students criticized that math question paper was very tough this year and liberal valuation and grace marks were demanded by a division of teachers.

From all over Tamil Nadu, totally ten lakh students who wrote Class X state board exams from March 14 to 29 would know their results on Monday. A release from Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) said "The results would be declared at 9.30 am on Monday. Candidates will receive the results through SMS".

The students can log into the following websites such as www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge1.tn.nic.in "www.dge2.tn.nic.in" to know their results.

From May 2, the provisional mark sheets can be downloaded through their schools. Moreover, from May 6 onwards, they can download it by registering their date of birth and registration number. From May 2 to 4, the students can apply for retotaling through their schools. The retotaling fee for English and language is Rs. 305 and for other subjects it is Rs. 205.

Many students criticized that math question paper was very tough this year, thus building up the pressure all over the place about the results. Liberal valuation and grace marks were demanded by a division of teachers.

A DGE official said "There were no errors in questions. So, we did not give any grace marks for the students." For the students who do not pass the board exams, supplementary exam will be conducted from June 14 to 22 by the DGE.
