Former AP Deputy Speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad has received great honor in the US. For his services for spreading Gandhian ideology and Telugu language culture, Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico declared October 25 as Buddha Prasad Day here in the city.
Buddha Prasad was invited as a chief guest at a seminar organized at Standford University in California on the occasion of 150th Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations which held from 11 to 13 of this month. After this, he participated in the Legacy of Peace meetup at the Field Museum in Chicago on October 18.
Buddha Prasad also attended the Nela Nela Vennela event which was organized by Telugu Association of North Texas in Dallas on October 19. On October 25, Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico honored Mandali Buddha Prasad in Illinois.
