CM greets people on Republic Day, 65th Republic Day, Republic Day, Kiran Kumar Reddy. The Chief Minister said, “ January 26 is one of the most memorable days in Indian history as it was on this day in 1950.

Hyderabad: On the eve of the , Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy greeted the people of the State. The Chief Minister in his message said, “On the eve of the Republic Day, I wish the people of the State and the Telugu brethren all over the world peace, happiness, prosperity and development. I also pay my humble tributes to the Constitution makers, national leaders, freedom fighters and scores of martyrs who relentlessly fought and sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country and in establishing the sovereign Democratic Republic of India.”

The Chief Minister said, “ January 26 is one of the most memorable days in Indian history as it was on this day in 1950, the Constitution of India came into force and India became a sovereign democratic Republic. When India gained freedom from the British Empire on August 15, 1947, there was a need to regulate the meaning of freedom. On this day in 1950, the country became a sovereign democratic Republic with a written Constitution and Parliament with elected members.”

Claiming that the State was one of the fastest developing States in the country, the Chief Minister said, “Since 2011 industrial investment worth more than Rs 2 lakh crore has been cleared. This would provide employment to 4.38 lakh youth”.
