Hyderabad: The Minister for Rural Development in the state cabinet Dokka Manikya Varaprasad on Monday addressed the media and said the efforts put in by the Seemandhra MPs will not go in vain.

He said it was due to their sacrifice, the Seemandhra problems have been noticed by the national parties. He was confident that the Congress High Command will respond positively to address the problems of Seemandhra.

Dokka urged for apparent information whether Telangana bill was introduced in the Parliament or not. He said he was not aware of Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh floating a new party. Further, he said Kiran Kumar Reddy has been a strong Congress Party loyalist and expressed his hope that the latter will not leave the party. He said it was due to Kiran Kumar’s efforts only the leaders nominated by the Congress Party high command have been elected for Rajya Sabha.
