Addressing the newsmen at Beallampalli in the district on Sunday, he criticised that though Kiran Kumar Reddy was in CM post for more than two years, he had no knowledge about power sector. The government's inability to handle the power situation severely affected domestic, agriculture and industrial sectors in the State, he added. He said that the government should reduce power tariff charges keeping in view the problems of common people and take urgent measures to ease the power situation. The MP informed that Rs 1.39 crore was sanctioned to five municipalities under Peddapalli constituency for public health. As the people were making appeals for extension of Tirupati-Bellampalli train service up to Kagajnagar, steps would be taken to do so, he added. G Vivekananda also said that he sought the government to set up a Sub Court and a Sub Registrar Office in Bellampalli town. Earlier, the MP took part in various development programmes.
