Grand welcome to Sammaiah

Mancherial:A Sirpur MLA Kaveti Sammaiah was accorded a grand welcome by Telangana protagonists at Mancherial Railway Station in Adilabad district on Wednesday. It was his first visit to the district after he was released from the jail.A It may be noted that TRS MLA Sammaiah was arrested and lodged in the Mahbubnagar district jail for over three days in connection with the Sadak Bandh case.A Later, the court granted bail to him. While he was on his way to Sirpur town travelling on the AP Express train, the Telangana supporters in large numbers came to the Mancherial Railway station and gave a grand welcome to him. Speaking on the occasion, Sammaiah alleged that the State Government foisted false cases against the Telangana leaders in connection with the Sadak Bandh case and lodged them in the jail in a bid to suppress the Telangana movement. he TRS MLA demanded the UPA Government not to dodge the Telangana issue in the name of consultations.
