AP capital blueprint to arrive from Singapore soon
The Andhra Pradesh Municipal and Urban Development department informed on Monday that the master plan for the new capital city of AP will be submitted by the Singapore Government on May 25.

The AP Government from June 1 to 30 will send objections and the final notification will be issued in the first week of July. A separate master plan will be submitted by Singapore government from June 19-15 for the seed capital.
About 15,000 acre of land has been pooled by the AP Capital Region Development Authority from landowners with clear agreements and more 15,000 acres are to be acquired by the end of May.Around 500 acres of land is yet to be acquired from the farmers who are against land pooling and have approached the Courts.
A senior Municipal Administration department official stated that CRDA will have 30,000 acres of land and an additional 800 acre might be required which would be acquired under the Land Acquisition Act.
