The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu became the hot topic for the social media not because he laid foundation stone for the new capital, Amaravati, or because he is set to complete one year in office. The audio tape in which he is said to have spoken to the Anglo-Indian MLA of Telangana State, Stephen, landed Chandrababu Naidu in big debate in the social media with his supporters denying it and rivals nailing him.

The ruling Telugu Desam rank and file denied the involvement of Chandrababu Naidu in the cash for vote issue. They saw a plot to dilute to “Maha Sankalpa Deeksha” which is organized to mark one year of the government. The plot was aimed at demoralizing the people of AP, who are set to build a new capital and develop the State under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, they said. The supporters of the TDP government took to Facebook and alleged that it is a part of the gruesome ‘politricks’ of the opposition leaders to affect the guts of people.

A supporter Srinivas Baali said, “This is an act that is intended solely to defame our leader NCB. Opposition is playing tricks to spoil the reputation of the TDP president.’’ A graduate, Naga Sravan Kilaru posted on his FB saying, “Well our law says taking bribe and giving bribe are both a mistake.

How did Revanth Reddy come up with a figure of 5 cores who gave that figure? Who asked Revanth Reddy or his supporters to bring money?!? Why did Revanth Reddy approach Stephen and not others? Who planned it all? Is it CBN plan or KCR plan? Another supporter of Telugu Desam Kadiyala Sudhir Kumar posted saying “If CBN voices tapes are true then there is nothing wrong he has spoken. It won't come under influencing or coercing. Anyhow the entire episode doesn't stand the scrutiny of courts.” The Opposition YSR Congress had posted the audio tape of the total conversation between Chandrababu Naidu and the TS legislator.

A user, Upendra Sama commented, “Arrest Chandrababu immediately. He is a big burglar.’’ Another Sangireddy Surender Reddy said, “we don’t need corrupt leaders who take to cheap tricks in politics. Arrest him immediately.’’ The TRS Minister K T Rama Rao in his twitter account posted, “If CBN has the guts, I dare him to accept my challenge: I am willing to take a lie-detector test live on TV, Are you ready for one?’’ He also said in his previous tweet, “No matter how hard CBN & his cronies try, issue at hand is corrupt practices of TDP & its president. Issue is not between Telangana and AP’’.
