Youth need vision to scale heights: Mayor

Vision Foundation Day celebrations and Udyogadarshini Carnival-2016 were held at Siddhartha Auditorium in the city on Wednesday. Participating in the event as a chief guest, Mayor Koneru Sridhar lauded the initiative of Vision Foundation in providing free coaching to students under Udyogadarshini to enable them to get good placements. He exhorted students to develop a vision, which helps them scale career heights.

Zilla Grandhalaya Samastha (ZGS) Secretary Y Krishna Rao hailed Vision Foundation’s decision to adopt libraries to develop them as model ones. Rural youth preparing for various competitive examinations would get benefited with the development of libraries in Krishna district, he said. Vision Foundation founder president G Vijaya Kumar exhorted students to aim high in career and strive to achieve it with commitment.

The aim of Vision Foundation is to better equip students to get good placements in the competitive world, he added. PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science placement officer K Sridhar and others spoke. Later, students presented a variety of cultural programmes.
