Five third year mechanical engineering students of Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao (PSCMR) College of Engineering and Technology have designed a multi-fuel bike which runs on petrol, LPG, ethanol and methanol. The bike is designed by S Sreenath, T Deekshit, R Pradeep Kumar, P Sairam and P Chandrakanth under the guidance of Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering L Suvarna Raju and Science & Humanities faculty G Anuradha.

Displaying the multi-fuel bike at the college, the engineering students said it helps reduce vehicle pollution. “The bike gives good mileage whatever the fuel may be. We will further modify the design of the bike to prove that its operation is cost-effective and eco-friendly if this is properly encouraged,” the students said. PSCMR College principal Kamisetti Nageswara Rao appreciated the students for their initiative in designing the multi-fuel bike to curb vehicle emissions.
