Children showcased their talent in fine arts at the event. Keyboard player P Koundinya who played `Maha Ganapathim’, `Nagumomu’ and `Vandemataram’, stole the show. His music talent was well appreciated by the audience.

Tanmayi Sri Lasya, Durga Sri Harshita, Gowri Snehita, Namita, Rohita, Akshaya, Dharani Supraja, Yasaswini, Ritika and Vaishnavi, disciples of K Satyavathi Devi, rendered Keerthanas of saint composer Bhakta Ramadasu, which included `Idigo Bhadradri Gowthami Adigo Chudandi’, `Paluke Bangaramayana’ and `Sri Rama Neenamamento Ruchira’.

S Naga Vaishnavi rendered Annamacharya Keerthanas `Pidikita Talambrala’ and `Madhava Kesava’ with her melodious voice.

Akhila Sri, Meghana, Jyothika Pallavi, Sushmitha, Trinayana, Gayathri, Javali Kanakapurna, Sruthi Dhanya, Jyothikabhanu and Neeraja, disciples of Devarakonda Chandra Sekhar, presented a welcome dance and Kuchipudi items `Narayana Achyuta' and `Cheri Yasodaku Sisuvithadu’. Meenakshi Srilekha performed Bharatanatyam. BVSN Krishna played violin.

Speaking at the event, N Ch Butchaiah Charyulu, violin maestro and lecturer of Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College, lauded the efforts of Balanandam to unearth the hidden talent of children in the age group of 4 to 15 years by organising monthly cultural programmes.

Dr PE Sony Lal appreciated the children for their good performances.
