To be a part of this growing segment, Piaggio India launched their premium Aprilia SR 150 scooter in India back in August this year. With a starting price of just Rs 65,000, this scooter was soon a hit among enthusiasts.

Aprilia SR 150 scooter is marketed as a cross, that combines a sports bike feel with a scooter’s readiness. Though he did not divulge much details, all he said that this will be a more peppier version of the SR 150.

We are not sure what he meant when he said that the new SR will be more peppier. From what we could guess, it seems like the new SR 125, which was spied a few weeks back at a Aprilia dealership in Bangalore. Or does he mean that a new SR 150 edition is on its way? Well, whatever be the case, we are getting a new Aprilia scooter soon.

Stefano Pelle elaborates that the company’s launches thus far have been received favourably.
