City girl who represented India Women’s cricket team in Asia Cup T 20 conducted by Asia Cricket Council (ACC) at Bangkok received a warm welcome at Gannavaram Airport on Tuesday. Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) secretary A Yella Rao, joint secretary B Bapuji, Treasurer CR Mohan, Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) Chief Coach Maria Fahey, Coach Srinivas Reddy, Women’s Academy co-ordinator Vanitha, KDCA coaches Chiranjeevi and Gandhi received Meghana at the Ariport.
Speaking on the occasion Meghana felt that she was very happy to represent her country’s team. She hopes that inspiration and support of cricket association would continue in future also. Later women cricketers and KDCA members gave a still for a group photo. Meghana’s father S Srinivasa Rao cheerfully received his daughter.
