Volvo has launched the facelift of the V40 hatchback which carries the traditional Volvo design with some major additions to make it look way more stunning. Moreover, the V40 Cross Country also gets minute cosmetic distinctions. Prices start at Rs. 25.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) which show the Swedish automaker’s inclination in almost every segment in our country. Additionally, a new showroom, the 3S facility has also been started in Kochi with highly trained technicians for Volvo cars.

Cosmetically, the 2017 Volvo V40 comes with Thor’s Hammer headlights, a new waterfall design grille with the large iron mark to make this car look even cooler, as stated by the company. The wheel design has been refreshed that varies for both the cars. On the inside, three varieties of leathers has been provided for the V40 and five leather options for the V40 Cross Country.

An ample of safety features have been packed in both the cars with various other luxurious features to provide all the possible conveniences to the passengers. The engine specifications of both the cars remain unchanged despite the facelift. The Volvo V4 carries a ‘D3’ 2.4-litre diesel engine which is capable enough to deliver 150 HP of power and 320 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Whereas, the Cross Country also comes with a ‘T4’ petrol engine that churns out 190 HP of power and 300 Nm of torque.
