As part of its digital transformation journey, Telenor India has empowered its exclusive retail stores with a next generation mobile app. The new easy to use app will simplify the daily retail operations of its retail partners and help them serve the customers better.
This is first of its kind multi-functional app to be launched by a telecom operator in India. This app offers end-to-end solutions in retail and will bring higher efficiencies in the retail chain of the company.
Speaking at the launch of the Telenor retail mobile app, Shrinath Kotian, Circle Business Head - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Telenor India said, “We have always been striving to deliver seamless experience to our customers when they walk into a Telenor store. With the launch of this innovative app, we are enabling our last mile partners to serve them digitally.
It will not just simplify customer service but also enable better tracking of store performance. The digitisation of our retail arm will facilitate smooth flow of information, inventory management and will also help in real time redressal of customer’s queries.”
“Being a mass market operator, we focus on rural markets where supply of electricity is a challenge, this app will help in overcoming such barriers and serve customers in a more efficient manner,” he further added.
The app will bring a change in the way the retail functions as the industry transitions towards smartphones for recharges, e-KYC and SIM activation.
This easy to use app comes with an inbuilt learning module for retail. The integrated Customer Interaction Module (CIM) and Advanced Retail Management System (ARMS) will improve retail operations immensely.
The app shows real time status of the stock available with the retailers, logistics details and will also record the customer buying trends. The data collated through the app will help in creating better strategies and cost synergies in the system.
