iB Hubs, a PAN India startup hub, had organised a two day workshop at the campus of Andhra Loyola college of Engineering, which had concluded on Thursday. The programme was organised to create awareness about Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technologies such as Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Internet of things, Cyber security, and Data Analytics.

iB Hubs vice-president Shiva Shankar said that the iB hubs was officially announced on November 13, 2016 by NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant, iB Hubs envisions to accelerate the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship all over India, with a mission to set up 2500 innovation hubs across India by 2019. iB Hubs had 30 hubs across seven states in India.

He said that the entrepreneurship awareness programme would give startup ideas and innovative thoughts to students which will encourage them to develop business models. Hundreds of youth, especially undergraduate students, from all over the district participated in the workshop.

The workshop was a part of the nationwide drive conducted by the iB Hubs aimed at channelising the energy of youth towards productive activities. He said that the enthusiasm of the students shows a bright future of the nation.

He further said that iB Hubs has a 1000 members strong team, with 200 full time working staff which includes engineers, management professionals, doctors, academicians, designers and has expertise in diverse domains, he added.
