istrict-Wide Drawing Competitions were held in Sri YN College on the occasion of the forthcoming Independence Day Celebrations. Gandhian Studies Centre of Sri YN College, Narsapur conducted District-Wide Drawing Competitions for school and college students on Friday at 11 AM in the college premises. Dr ARS Kumar, Principal of the college, inaugurated the competitions.

District-Wide Drawing Competitions were held in Sri YN College on the occasion of the forthcoming Independence Day Celebrations. Gandhian Studies Centre of Sri YN College, Narsapur conducted District-Wide Drawing Competitions for school and college students on Friday at 11 AM in the college premises. Dr ARS Kumar, Principal of the college, inaugurated the competitions.

In this context, he said that the aim of these competitions is to encourage the creativity and talent of young minds and imbibe the ideals and values of Mahatma Gandhi. He asked the students to follow and practice Gandhian principles which are more relevant to the present society.

There were 240 students who participated in these competitions from Palakol, in and around Narsapur and Nidadavole towns. Prizes for winners will be distributed on August 15.

Divi Satyan, a local artist, attended as a resource person and judge for the event. Dr D Venkateswara Rao, Director, Gandhian Studies Centre, Dr R Pardhasaradhi, MBA Head, teachers DR PV Subba Rao, DDN Prasad, and PG Students participated in these competitions.
