Students of Suryva Vidya Niketan, Ashok Nagar, along with other school and college students enthusiastically participated in the distribution. Nearly 20 Muslim children joined the volunteers and campaigning for the use of eco-friendly clay idols for Vinayaka Chaviti to be observed on August 25.

Youth for Seva (YFS) Amaravati region chapter co-ordinator Shaik Ashraf said, ‘Religion is no matter for us, we celebrate all festivals.” V Kumar of Abhaya Kumar foundation said he was delighted to distribute eco-friendly idols to the devotees. He said the free distribution will continue till 10 am on August 25.
