He inaugurated a digital classroom at ZP High School in AV Nagaram Village at Thondangi Mandal of East Godavari district here on Tuesday. Speaking on this occasion Yanamala said that, utilising the technology in digital classrooms in the schools would help the students for better understanding of the subjects to get good results in exams.

He further said that each digital classroom would cost Rs 1.45 lakh, out of which, the government would provide Rs 1 lakh and the reaming is the donor’s contribution.

Minister said that it was targeted to establish 646 digital classrooms in the district by the end of coming April and 325 classrooms were established so far in the district so far.

He further said that to promote school education 467 additional classrooms were proposed under hybrid annuity mode in the district and 701 low lying school buildings would be levelled through the convergence of NREGS in the district. Later Minister inaugurated the additional classrooms in the AVNagaram ZP School constructed with Rs 5.80 lakh and inaugurated the MP primary school in the old building of a Primary Health Centre in the village.

President Tuni Agricultural Market Committee Yanamala krishnudu, DEO S Abraham and others attended the inaugral.
