He examined the beach festival arrangements along with the City and Rural MLAs Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao and Pilli Anantha Lakshmi at the NTR Beach here.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Girijan Festival would be held in Maredumilli to promote forest tourism. He further informed that the festivals would be organised by the department of the AP Tourism.

He ordered the district administration to take necessary measures for the visitors who come to see the international musician and Oscar Award winner AR Rahman’s music concert on the final day of the celebrations.

Rajappa expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements, progress of the festival so far, and suggested the revenue and police departments to work in coordination with some of the State Ministers and State-level officers. “The CM is conducting the festivals and fairs to revive and protect our tradition,” said Rajappa.

Collector Mishra, Joint Collector Mallikarjuna, Sub-Collector Saikanth Varma, Additional JC Radha Krishna Murthy, ITDA POs, RDOs and other officials the festival.
