Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao said sports will bring out innate talent in students.
Guntur: Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao said sports will bring out innate talent in students.
Addressing a meeting at the NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium on the inauguration of Sports Meet for inmates of Kamma Jana Seva Samithis here on Sunday, he said that students, who participate in the Sports Meet would be active in education. “When the students exhibit talent, they would be encouraged,” he added.
He urged the students to participate in the sports meet and stated that the government has been encouraging players and prioritising sports.
MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy said that the government was developing stadia and setting up new stadia in all the constituency headquarters.
Earlier, students took out a rally from Kamma Jana Seva Samithi to NTR Stadium. MLA G V Anjaneyulu and Guntur Mirchi Yard chairman Mannava Subba Rao were among those participated.
