State-level polytechnic sports meet at PACE
The 22nd State-level Sports and Games Meet for the polytechnic students will be organised at PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences, as per the orders of the education department special commissioner, announced college secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar.

Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, Sridhar said that special commissioner of education department Panda Das, selected PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences for the Polytechnic Sports and Games Meet 2017-18 from December 28 to 30.
Sridhar said that the management was making elaborate arrangements for the prestigious sports meet, which will be inaugurated by HRD Minister Ganta Srinivas and Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Minister Sidda Raghava Rao.
Polytechnic college principal Palaga Anil Kumar said that about 1,300 boys and girls would be participating in the sports meet, along with about 300 coaches and physical directors from various colleges. The college would provide free transport from the bus station and railway station, accommodation and food facility on college campus, said college physical director I Madhusudan.
