Kitchen gardens in municipal schools
The Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) is encouraging students studying in RMC schools to arrange kitchen gardens. Respective headmasters of the schools are briefing the students about the advantages of kitchen gardens.

The students of Adi Andhra Municipal Corporation Primary School located in Korlammapeta are developing kitchen garden with various varieties of leaf vegetables along with croton flowers in plastic tubs and bottles. The municipal schools in Cemetrypeta and old town are also developing kitchen gardens.
The headmistress Seva Rajya Lakshmi has been supervising kitchen garden work and encouraging the students.
RMC Commissioner V Vijaya Rama Raju, asked all headmasters of municipal schools to encourage the students to develop kitchen gardens in the respective schools. He congratulated the headmasters of schools who have been maintaining kitchen gardens at present.
