Students showcase talents at Yuva Mahotsav
The students at the Prakasam Engineering College in Kandukur showcased their talent at the Yuva Mahotsav 2018, a youth festival organised by the district youth services department at their college.
Kandukur: The students at the Prakasam Engineering College in Kandukur showcased their talent at the Yuva Mahotsav 2018, a youth festival organised by the district youth services department at their college.
The youth services department CEO, B Ravi said that the state government was organising the youth festivals all over the state to mark the birthday of Swami Vivekananda and to bring new energy to the youth. He distributed prizes and certificates from government to the winners of various competitions held for the Kandukur division youth at the Prakasam Engineering College on Wednesday evening.
The college correspondent, Kancharla Ramaiah said that the competitions like these were most welcome for bringing out the talent in youth. He appreciated the girls who participated in the rangoli competition for designing colorful rangolis.
He said that the public were gradually forgetting the traditional games like back walking, frog jumping, folk songs and dance etc and appreciated the youth services department for conducting competitions in the categories.
The college treasurer, K Srikanth, Meeravali, Ismail and other teaching staff and non-teaching staff also participated in the programme.
