Poor Brahmins get loans worth RS 12 lakh
MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao (Bujji) has said that the Government is sanctioning loans in a big way for the economic development of Brahmins in the red.He disbursed loans worth Rs 12 lakh sanctioned by the AP Brahmin Corporation to 100 poor Brahmins at his camp office on Friday.
Eluru: MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao (Bujji) has said that the Government is sanctioning loans in a big way for the economic development of Brahmins in the red.He disbursed loans worth Rs 12 lakh sanctioned by the AP Brahmin Corporation to 100 poor Brahmins at his camp office on Friday.
The MLA said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with a view to improving the living conditions of economically backward Brahmins constituted the AP Brahmana Corporation and allotted Rs 500 crore to the corporation. He stated that the Brahmins have been a constant support to TDP from its inception.
He said that the corporation would sanction loans for the studies of Brahmin students in penury. He said a stall would be opened in main centres of Eluru city to exhibit food items prepared by the Brahmin community that would aid them to better their economic condition.
Brahmin Cooperative Society Manager Srikanth and others participated in the programme.
