Bicycle rally for awareness on environment
As part of awareness on environment protection and healthcare, Additional SP V Ratna flagged-off a bicycle rally taken up by the Andhra Pradesh Special Protection Force (APSPF) at Fire Station Centre here on Sunday.
Eluru: As part of awareness on environment protection and healthcare, Additional SP V Ratna flagged-off a bicycle rally taken up by the Andhra Pradesh Special Protection Force (APSPF) at Fire Station Centre here on Sunday.
The APSPF has taken up the rally with a slogan “Environment protection– Healthcare” to create awareness on clean environment and good health from Srikakulam to Anantapur covering over 1168 KMs.
The APSPF Director General, Madireddy Prathap initiated the rally and distributed modern gear bicycles to the personnel who were participating in the rally. The rally was kicked-off at Srikakulam on December 27 and will end at Anantapur on January 7.
The rally reached Eluru city in the early hours of Sunday. Guntur APSPF DIG Yesu Ratnam, Commandant Dr KN Rao and DSP Satyam led the rally.Additional SP (Armed Reserve) M Mahesh Kumar, DSPs K Eswara Rao, VS Vasan, Circle Inspectors and others participated in the event.
Eluru Municipal Corporation cooption member SMR Pedababu also participated to extend his solidarity to the rally.
