Rama Reddy conferred Menda memorial award
Eminent psychiatrist Karri Rama Reddy has received the Dr RK Menda Memorial Oration Award in the national conference of Indian Medical Association (IMA) held in New Delhi on December 27 and 28.
Rajamahendravaram: Eminent psychiatrist Karri Rama Reddy has received the Dr RK Menda Memorial Oration Award in the national conference of Indian Medical Association (IMA) held in New Delhi on December 27 and 28.
The award was given to Dr Rama Reddy for his oration on ‘Changing doctor-patient relations’ and towards his outstanding contribution in the field of medicine.
Dr Rama Reddy is the only doctor from Andhra Pradesh honoured with this national award. He is the recipient of the prestigious Dr BC Roy national award, along with many national awards in the field of psychiatry, medical and social services. He has treated about 1.29 lakh psychiatric patients in Rajamahendravaram and contributed 3,600 articles to various journals and newspapers so far.
