Challa donates for medical treatment

In a touching gesture, Aryapuram Co-operative Urban Bank Limited chairman Challa Shankar Rao has donated an amount of Rs 10,000 to G Savitri here on Friday, for medical care of her son G Aswini Yesu Kumar (2-year-old). The boy is sufferfing with an urological problem from some months and his parents were trying for financial assistance, but in vain.
Rajamahendravaram: In a touching gesture, Aryapuram Co-operative Urban Bank Limited chairman Challa Shankar Rao has donated an amount of Rs 10,000 to G Savitri here on Friday, for medical care of her son G Aswini Yesu Kumar (2-year-old). The boy is sufferfing with an urological problem from some months and his parents were trying for financial assistance, but in vain.
Later, she approached the bank chairman Challa Shankar Rao, who immediately responded and gave the amount from his salary. Shankar Rao is in the habit of donating money to the needyfrom his salary every month and not use it for his own.
Bank secretary G Sudhakar Rao, assistant secretary K Nageswara Rao, directors S Srihari and others were present.
