Tanuku: Police initiated a motorbike rally to create awareness on the usage of helmets by motorcyclists in Tanuku town on Friday.
The bike rally started at Narendra Centre. The Town Circle Inspector, Appalaswamy flagged off the rally. Sub-Inspector Adinarayana, Rural SI Ramesh participated in the rally along with Appalaswamy. The rally covered main streets of the town, the bypass road and reached the Circle Inspector’s Office towards conclusion. Addressing the rally, the CI said that helmet usage was necessary for motorcyclists to save their lives from road mishaps.
