RTC to run special buses to meet festive rush
The APSRTC Prakasam district Regional Manager, Adam Saheb announced that they offer special services to meet the demand of passengers from various places like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and other cities to Prakasam district during the Sankranti festival.

The RM explained that the RTC is running a special service from Hyderabad to Ongole on January 6 and 7 and increasing the number of services from Hyderabad to major depots in the district on January 9 and 10. The RTC will also run 11 services on 11th, 9 services on12th and 3 services on 13th to meet the demand from the home coming public. Over all, from January 9 to 12, there will be 42 services to Ongole from Hyderabad, 28 services to Addanki, 23 to Chirala, 48 to Giddalur, 42 to Kandukur, 69 to Kanigiri, 54 to Markapuram and 35 services to Podili depots.
For the return journey, extra special services will be available from January 15 to 21. There will be 45 services to Hyderabad from Ongole, 25 from Addanki, 27 from Chirala, 41 from Giddalur, 47 from Kandukur, 70 from Kanigiri, 64 from Markapuram and 61 from Podili depots. The RM explained that in these total 380 services, there would be 204 express, 142 ultra deluxe and 34 super luxury services.
Similarly, from January 15 to 20, there will be 15 services to Bangalore including 13 special services and 26 services to Chennai including 17 special services from Ongole. The RM asked the public to utilise the special services for a safe and convenient journey.
