‘Suspend GGH private docs’
Student leaders under the banner of All India Youth Federation demanded that the government suspend a gynecologist working in the GGH immediately. They alleged that the gynecologists are neglecting the patients in the GGH and working for private hospitals to make a fast buck.

In a memorandum submitted to the GGH Regional Medical Officer, Dr Adinarayana, here on Sunday, the AIYF president, Vemuri Subba Rao alleged that Sailaja from Dachepalli mandal of Guntur district went to a private hospital for surgery. The doctor asked her to pay Rs 50,000 fee.
Upon visiting the GGH, the patient alleged to have seen the same doctor working for the institution. He alleged that the doctors working in the private hospitals were not concentrating on patients in the GGH. The AIYF leader wanted action against the doctor who was working for private hospital immediately.
