Tennis courts to be developed at NTR Stadium
MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy has said that the government will develop tennis courts in the NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium at a cost of Rs 12 lakh very soon. He addressed NTR Tennis Cup valedictory programme held in the NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium on Saturday night.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that the state government was encouraging sports and urged the youth to participate in the sports for good health and stress-free life. MLA GV Anjaneyulu said that the state government was spending crores of rupees for sports and developing the stadia. Guntur would become a hub of sports, he added.
MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad said that the government was making plans to encourage the players. Later, they distributed prizes to winners. Guntur Mirchi Yard chairman Mannava Subba Rao, TDP Guntur East secretary Maddali Giri, Kammajana Sena Samithi president Samineni Koteswara Rao,Tulasi Group director Tulasi Dharma Charan were among those who participated in the meeting.
