Police officers’ sports meet inaugurated
West Godavari District Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash inaugurated the West Godavari District Police officers Sports and Games Meet-2018 at Police Parade Grounds here on Friday. The SP, while addressing the police officers who were participating in the meet, suggested them to show a sportsman spirit in the meet.

He said, “Winning is not only the goal. However, we have to strive hard for a win and the sports and games meet will give much relaxation and strength among the participants who were stressed in their duties.”
The SP earlier inspected the guard of honour from the sportspersons and released the pigeons on the occasion. Additional SP V Ratna, Armed Reserve Additional SP M Mahesh Kumar, AR DSP VS Vasan, Eluru DSP K Eswara Rao, Women Police stations DSP Pydeswara Rao, DTC DSP Rajeswara Reddy, DCRB CI GVS Krishna Rao and other officials participated in the inaugural meeting. Later, the sports events started for the police officers.
