The Young Men Hindu Association (YMHA) has organised training classes in Arimura and Kung-fu martial arts and Yoga at YMHA Hall here on Wednesday. The YMHA Trust Board General Secretary, KV Satyanarayana, President Venugopal Lunani inaugurated the training classes by lighting the lamp.

Eluru: The Young Men Hindu Association (YMHA) has organised training classes in Arimura and Kung-fu martial arts and Yoga at YMHA Hall here on Wednesday. The YMHA Trust Board General Secretary, KV Satyanarayana, President Venugopal Lunani inaugurated the training classes by lighting the lamp.

Speaking on the occasion, the YMHA President, Venugopal Lunani stressed the need to encourage arts and cultural traditions of the country. He said that martial arts like Arimura, the known martial art of Kerala and Tamil Nadu and the Kung-fu of the oriental countries would develop the discipline and physical fitness of the youth and children if practised.

The Trust Board General Secretary, KV Satyanarayana said that the YMHA was conducting various programmes for the people. He congratulated the martial arts trainer Venugopal Srinivas for coming forward to train the youth.

YMHA Executive committee President Yarra Somalingeswara Rao, General Secretary Paladugu Muralishyam, Vice President Majji Kantha Rao, Trust Board Treasurer KBV Ramesh, members KB Rao, Lella Venkateswara Rao, Jillellamudi Prasad, Srinivasa Nayudu, trainer Kalidasu Vijaya Kumar, Srihari Satyanarayana participated in the inaugural programme. Later, the training in martial arts and yoga started at the venue.
