AKNU staff backs VC
Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) Teachers Association president Dr B Jaganmohan Reddy and AKNU Outsourcing Staff Association president J Pedda, said that some persons were trying to tarnish the image of the university by issuing baseless statements.
Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) Teachers Association president Dr B Jaganmohan Reddy and AKNU Outsourcing Staff Association president J Pedda, said that some persons were trying to tarnish the image of the university by issuing baseless statements. Not able to digest the fast growth of the university, some people had been slinging mud on vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu, they said.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, they said that under the aegis of Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu, the university was marching ahead in all fronts and achieved many things. The vice-chancellor was initiating steps to recruit assistant professors, associate professors and professors as per norms and with transparency, they claimed.
The vice-chancellor succeeded in his efforts to obtain UGC 12 B status to the university and in many aspects he led the university to national level with sports, seminars and other activities. Considering the development of the university everyone should extend their cooperation to develop the university on a war-footing, they added.
