He participated in the valedictory ceremony of the three-week-long ‘Combined Action Party’ training programme at the Police Parade Grounds here on Friday.

While addressing the cadets, the SP told that they should always be prepared for any emergency situation and wished them that they would achieve success in every battle. The SP further informed that the Maoists belong to different legions were now become one legion and creating huge menace and destruction.

In the same way, all the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) and ANS (Anti- Naxal Squad) cadets would have to become one to suppress the Maoists. Gunni specified the cadets that if they use the skills learned in this training during their combat operations, they would easily achieve the upper hand in the battle with the Maoists.

Later, the SP presented a merit certificate and a cash reward of Rs 1,000 to the first and second best performers R Gowtham (CRPF) and K Srinivas (ANS) respectively. OSD Y Ravi Shankar Reddy, Additional SP (AR) R Prabhakar Rao, DSP (AR) Appa Rao, SB DSPs Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Sunkara Murali Mohan and AR CIs and SIs participated in the closing ceremony.
