The students of the NextGen International School, exhibited their philanthropic heart and donated the money earned in the carnival organised recently in the school, to orphans and aged persons. 

Ongole: The students of the NextGen International School, exhibited their philanthropic heart and donated the money earned in the carnival organised recently in the school, to orphans and aged persons.

The children from the school donated 10 bags of rice, 2 bags of red gram, oil and other commodities along with clothes, blankets, books, play items and Rs 10,000 in cash to the Bommarillu Street Children Rescue Home and Mother Teresa Orphanage in Ongole as the first phase of help.

The school principal Dr RLV Ramesh said that these kind of philanthropic activities were being conducted through the children of their school to induce social responsibility in them.

He said that the second phase of help would be delivered to few other organisations in a week or two. The executive officer, Franklin, manager Narasa Reddy, teacher Sarada Rani and other staff from the school also participated in the programme.
