Plants help save earth, students told

Rajamahendravaram: Students of Dafne Asiatic School participated in Earth Day celebrations aimed to bring awareness on the importance of earth and environment among the people.

They took part in a programme showing saplings in their hands. They also performed many cultural programmes in this regard.Later, the school chairman, Tambattula Sridhar underlined the need to protect environment by planting saplings in a massive scale.

The trees would protect earth and also maintain ecological balance. The students should take the lead in inculcating the habit of planting saplings which gives oxygen to all. The school management was giving priority to protect environment and also the importance of earth, he added.

The school director, T Srividya said, “If we conserve the trees, they will protect us.” She advised the students to know the importance of earth as well as environment. The
