Anantapuramu: The rural police of Anantapuramu finally cracked the murder mystery of a degree college student Vishnuvardhan Reddy here on Wednesday. The main accused Raja Reddy and Hari Kumar Reddy of Kurlapalli village of Kanaganipalli mandal were taken into custody and sent to remand on Wednesday.
The deceased Vishnuvardhan Reddy was a final year B.Sc student of Srinivasa Degree College in Dhramavaram. He was a native of Bodanampalli village in Muligubba mandal. Occasionally, he used to visit his relatives in Kurlapalli village. Raja Reddy fell in love with a girl in the village and also convinced his family elders about their marriage.
However, as Vishuvardhan Reddy also fell in love with the same girl, Raja Reddy became upset and hatched a plan with his friend Hari Kumar Reddy. Both of them took Vishnuvardhan Reddy to Regatipalli village on some pretext and brutally murdered him by smothering him with boulders. DSP Shaikh Nawab Jaan investigated into the case.
