Ministers Kondru, Satrucharla quit

With the agitation gaining ground in the Seemandhra region, Minister for Health Kondru Murali and Minister for Forest Satrucharla Vijayarama Raju resigned from the Council of Ministers on Monday.

These two ministers met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in Secretariat and handed over their letter of resignations to him. They said that they were doing so to express their solidarity with the agitating people of the two regions and were opposed to the decision of the Congress party to bifurcate the State.
