According to sources, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told them in no uncertain terms that the Centre will honour its word given to Telangana people and thus there was no question of going back on its decision.

Union Ministers from Seemandhra like Chiranjeevi and Kavuri Samba Siva Rao who announced that they would abide by the Centre's decision on Telangana issue, were compelled to quit their posts amid pressure from Seemandhra people.

Of course, we are not mentioning about their (MPs) split over their resignations.

Now, the question on everyone's mind is what is their future plan? Would they switch loyalties to other parties?

Political observers feel that the MPs are not in favour of changing to other parties as other parties too are in dire state.

According to highly placed sources, the Seemandhra MPs are in talks with saffron party. Their plan is to defeat the Telangana Bill in the Parliament. The Congress High Command hinted that they will present the Telangana bill in the winter session of Parliament.

It is a known fact that without the support of BJP, Telangana bill cannot be passed in the Parliament.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu indicated on several occasions that his party will go for a pre-poll alliance with the BJP. Chandrababu recently held a closed door meeting with BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra modi. The TDP chief reportedly discussed Telangana and alliance with Modi.
