It is a known fact that BJP was having an alliance with TDP when it was in power. But now Bharatiya Janata Party state president G. Kishan Reddy has stated that the party is not game for alliance with any party for the General Elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a party meet organized by the party district wing at Bhuvanagiri called ‘Yuvagarjana’, Kishan Reddy marking local industrialist P.V. Shamsundar’s entry into BJP on Wednesday declared the news of BJP’s pre-poll alliance with the Telugu Desam Party.

Reddy said that the BJP will contest elections on its own in 42 Parliament and 294 Assembly constituencies in 2014 elections.

Welcoming Shamsundar into the party, Reddy said that the party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s views on nation's development had impressed the industrialist. Also Senior BJP leader Nallu Indrasena Reddy, former Minister K. Pushpaleela, district wing president Veerelli Chandrasekhar, Chintha Samba Murthi were among others who participated in the meet.
