‘Hyderabad Sirf Hamara’ book released

Noted academician Chukka Ramaiah released a book titled ‘Hyderabad Sirf Hamara’ here on Wednesday. Juluri Gourishanker, M Ved Kumar, Prof Laxman were among those who participated in the programme organized by Telangana Rachayitala Vedika at Martyrs Memorial statue near Gun Park.

Nidhi (pen name) has written the book. Speaking on the occasion, Chukka Ramaiah appealed to the Seemandhra sections not to make a big issue out of Hyderabad. Andhra people were associated with the Madras Presidency for over 200 years, but at the time of division they were told to vacate Madras within days. It was not the case with Hyderabad since it would be the common capital for 10 years, he said. He said that the people of Telangana would take good care of Seemandhra people and would treat them with love and affection.
